On less ambitious days, he is content to don his scuba equipment and explore underwater caverns in search of magnificent mineral formations and mysterious creatures of the deep. Scott's beaming face and shining pate are usually the first things people see when they visit FH Dailey. As the proud father of three energetic young lads, he is the alpha male of the pack. To keep his "cubs" from getting restless, he frequently leads them in rousing games of basketball, racquetball and football. Fred Schirmer

At an age when most of us would still be fumbling our way through driver’s ed, the young temerarious Fred was drag racing hot rods. In 1968, he participated in his first Top Fuel dragster race and won the Winter National. During his celebrated racing career, he set many records driving Funny Cars and Pro Mods. Now an adept, he uses his expertise to help others excel, too. At the 2006 Winter Nationals, he helped to take David Bace to the final. At FH Dailey, Fred is the Pro Drag racer and Pro Service Manager. Having been one of our valued team members since 1966, his in-depth knowledge of vehicles helps him to provide great service to customers.

Peter likes nothing more than imbibing Mudslides in the tropics, preferably while in a state of repose. Although, if it's before noon, a spicy Bloody Mary is usually his tipple of choice. In his quest for sea, sand and sun, he has cruised the Mexican Riviera, Hawaii, the Bahamas and the U.S. Virgin Islands. On one occasion, he boldly ventured northward to the considerably less-sunny climes of Alaska, braving beaches of glacier silt and ravenous subarctic carnivores. When he's not exploring uncharted territory by ocean liner, Peter manages our Parts Department, which, thanks to his zany humor, is a pretty jovial place to be!

Don is a twenty-first century Daniel Boone who often treks through the backwoods of the Sacramento Valley with his three strapping boys for a little outdoor recreation. Being an all-around sportsman, he is quite resourceful and adept at living off the land- or the water. As the truck manager at FH Dailey, Don is in charge of inventory and it is he who orders all the gleaming new GM vehicles. Having an amiable disposition, he is always ready to lend assistance wherever it may be needed.

Greg has been part of the sales team at FH Dailey since 1991, which has garnered him the illustrious distinction of being the team member who has been with the sales department the longest. At FH Dailey, John holds the positions of finance manager, sales manager and internet manager. Tony, Sr. loves adrenaline, and once upon a time (prior to having six children, raising them and putting them all through college), jumping out of airplanes was all in a day's fun. After his wife convinced him that skydiving should be left to the birds, he took up the rather more mundane sport of boxing and even managed other fighters. Blessed with the gift of affable conversation, Tony likes to get to know his customers so that he can best serve their needs. He takes the long view and believes that customer service should extend far beyond the sale of a car. His integrity and solicitude have earned him the loyalty of many customers over the years, and they, in turn, often refer him to their friends and family. He is the proud owner of a 1934 Ford and a 1950 Hudson Hornet, in which he can often be seen tooling around town with his two teenage daughters or taking road trips on Memorial Day weekend. A fun guy who is always ready for a good laugh, Randy treats others the way he likes to be treated. He has a quarter of a century’s experience in the car business and over 20 years in finance.

Don't be fooled by Bud's relaxed demeanor. Beneath that placid expression lies the incisive gaze of a tiger poised for action! A master of martial arts, he holds black belts in several deadly disciplines. Fortunately, we are able to safely channel most of this dynamic energy in a more benign direction by keeping him busy with a plethora of tasks. Bud makes courtesy deliveries to national companies, inspects used cars, installs security systems, coordinates employee testing programs and follows up with customers to make sure they are happy with their purchases. All in all, he's a pretty indispensable guy!

A consummate family man and nature lover, Abel likes to take his wife and three children camping in the Sonoma foothills. A typical day sees the Garcia family traipsing through the woods and fishing for dinner. When twilight approaches they roast s’mores over the campfire and play hide and seek in the woods. At night, Abel valiantly defends the food cache from bands of marauding squirrels. He is one of our helpful service advisors who always goes the extra mile and handles customers’ concerns the first time they come in.

Steve is a true man of action who finds the challenges of the Great Outdoors to be irresistible. As an enthusiastic skier, he thrills to the bracing rush of a chill wind while hurtling down the slopes. He has performed many feats of daring on land and sea, from hiking to vertiginous heights to trawling the depths of the ocean for esculent fish. Steve also enjoys the challenge of pairing people with their ideal vehicles. During his many years in auto sales, he has earned a reputation for honesty and integrity. Gary Thompson
Gary is a virtuoso who plays a motley variety of instruments, including guitar, bass, drums, mandolin, banjo, piano and harmonica. He has belonged to several local bands, which have played in locations all along the California Coast, from San Francisco to Los Angeles. These days, he does most of his rocking ‘n’ rolling at FH Dailey, where he is head of the Internet department.
Gary is a veteran of the car business, with 20 years of experience and knowledge. He has worked with Chevrolet and GM for 12 years and is one of the top-producing salespeople for Chevy in the U.S. He attributes much of his success to living by the golden rule, treating others as he would want to be treated. Gary is very personable and has a gift for making people feel comfortable and welcome.
